The Dale Mabry outpost of D'Lites Emporium trades on the same proposition the brand opened with back in 1982: ice cream you can eat every single day. Over a hundred rotating flavours run through the machines, served in a cone or a cup, or built into a shake, malt, sundae, parfait, blender or low-carb latte. Take-home comes in eight-ounce cups, pints and quarts, plus pies, cakes, ice cream sandwiches and Ultimate Bowls. The shelves stock low-carb, low-sugar and low-sodium snacks for people shopping the very same way. Open until nine-thirty most nights, ten at weekends. Guilt-free is the whole point.
