Breakfast, burgers and pepitos - the everyday end of this Venezuelan kitchen, and arguably the most fun part of it. Mornings mean desayuno criollo, huevos pericos, or an egg, ham and cheese sandwich. Later the pepitos take over: churrasco, chicken or mixto, piled high and eaten with both hands. The Doggis burger and the double cheeseburger hold their own, and a perrito caliente keeps the hot-dog roots visible on the board. Happy hour runs weekday late afternoons with cocktails, wine, beer and small plates. Churros caseros, quesillo and torta de queso close the whole thing out. Loud, generous, unmistakably Caracas.
