DON PAN – Restaurant

A Venezuelan bakery and Latin kitchen on Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, open from the first cortadito of the morning. Arepas are the anchor: reina pepiada, pabellon, pelua, domino, llanera and sifrina, each split and packed to order. Empanadas come Venezuelan or Argentinian, filled with cazon, shredded beef, shrimp, potato or cheese. Beyond that sit cachapas with guayanes cheese, pepitos, tequenos, ham croquettes, sopa de pollo, sopa de costilla and a full sandwich board including the Cuban. The bakery case alone carries cachitos, golfeados, pan de jamon, flan, milhojas and cuatro leches cake. Counter service, and busy from breakfast onward.
