Cuban cooking on South Military Trail, running since 1990, with more than a hundred dishes and a different special for every day of the week. The kitchen stays classic: palomilla steak with white rice, black beans and sweet plantains, Angus churrasco under chimichurri, rabo encendido, ropa vieja, lechon asado with moros and yuca in mojo. From the sea come whole fried snapper, garlic shrimp and lobster tail. There are Cuban sandwiches, Angus burgers, empanadas, and Spanish tortillas of potato, ham or sweet plantain. Open seven days for dining in, pickup or delivery. Generous plates, fair prices, and no wasted motion.
