DONNA MARE – Restaurant

An oceanfront Italian chophouse inside the Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club on Collins Avenue, where the open kitchen is the show: fresh pasta rolled in view by a master sfoglina, wood-fired pizza, prime cuts on the grill under executive chef Luigi Iannuario. Lunch brings tagliolini cacio e pepe, bucatini all'amatriciana, spicy rigatoni alla vodka, chitarra with gulf shrimp and Amalfi lemon, margherita and funghi di bosco pizzas, panuozzi packed with sausage and broccoli rabe. Nonna's giant meatball, burrata italiana and a panzanella open things. Breakfast from seven, aperitivo on weekday afternoons, dinner nightly. The wine list leans hard into rose.
