El Flamboyan has run its Puerto Rican-Chinese fusion counter on South Orange Blossom Trail in Orlando since 1998, a genre that sounds odd until the plates land. Krab rangoon, egg rolls and spring rolls share the menu with relleno de papa and mofongo, while the mains swing between pepper steak and sesame chicken on one side and bistec encebollado or chuletas fritas, fried pork chops, on the other. It is casual and made-to-order, open evenings most nights.
