El Xuc is a Salvadoran food truck parked at 7070 Northwest 84th Avenue, filed on the state's food-service roster under Miami though the address sits in the Doral area. The truck makes its pupusas from handmade corn tortillas and builds the rest of its menu around Salvadoran and Honduran staples, including carne asada, grilled steak, chicken and shrimp salads, Salvadoran-style French fries, and Honduran baleadas. Everything is prepared fresh from scratch, a point of pride for the small crew running the window. Service runs into the night, opening at 6 p.m. on weekdays and staying open past midnight on weekends.
