Elevation 89 takes its name from the Ocala airfield's own elevation, the number pilots hear in their headsets, and puts that view to work: a 150-seat room at Ocala Airport where guests watch small planes taxi, take off and land while eating. Open since 2021, the kitchen runs a surf-turf-earth menu opening with a "Check In" starters section, then jumbo scallops seared with a garlic Dijon cream sauce and fried onions, a lobster pie, halibut special and a lobster roll, plus a burger regulars call a house favorite. It is table service with runway views, not a terminal snack stand.
