Empanada & Co. runs its Apopka stall inside Hall's on 5th, the town's first food hall, sharing the room's indoor-outdoor seating and liquor bar with neighbors like Butcher's Nook, Parlor Kitchen and Thrive Eatery. The counter bakes rather than fries its Ecuadorian-style empanadas, filled with chicken, beef, pork or a rotating vegan option, plus a run of dessert flavors for something sweet after. Everything, filling and sauce alike, is made from scratch on site, which the operator calls its whole point. Orders also move through Uber Eats, Postmates and Toast. Diners call it a reliable stop inside a lively hall.
