FAMILY PIT – Restaurant

The Family Pit BBQ & Ice Cream smokes everything on-site along South Florida Avenue in Floral City, a roadside stop built around hardwood-smoked meats and homemade Amish-style ice cream made fresh daily. The board runs deep: chopped brisket and pulled pork sandwiches, St. Louis rib platters by the half or full rack, cherry apple glazed burnt ends cut from pork belly, and nachos piled with pit queso. Bowls pair garlic toast with a choice of side and meat, and the Family Feast spreads four meats and three pints of sides. Diners keep pointing to the burnt ends. A family operation.
