FLANIGAN'S – Restaurant

A Fort Lauderdale fixture of the South Florida group Joe Flanigan started in 1959, still family-run and open every day of the year. Doors open at eleven and stay open past eleven-thirty at night, later at weekends, with the full menu served at the bar as well as the tables. Baby back ribs, chargrilled and sauced, anchor everything; around them sit rib rolls stuffed with rib meat and pulled pork, peel and eat shrimp, seafood gumbo, ten-ounce burgers and fresh dolphin done blackened, broiled or fried. Weekday lunch runs six ninety-nine with a drink until four. Nautical walls, no pretension.
