Fonville Press Market and Cafe revived a shuttered Alys Beach coffee shop into an all-day spot on North Somerset, from the team behind The Citizen down the street. Breakfast and lunch run 7am to 3pm before the kitchen shifts into a 3-to-8pm dinner, built around a menu spanning a brisket biscuit, a frozen acai bowl, roasted chicken flatbread, and a street corn salad, plus coffee, cocktails and wine. A market case of grab-and-go goods sits alongside the made-to-order counter rather than replacing it. Regulars single out the biscuit breakfast sandwiches and the coffee as the reasons to keep stopping in.
