Downtown Fort Myers' organic café, started in 2014 in a tiny loft inside the Franklin Shops and now settled into a brighter room on First Street with seating outside. The kitchen is vegan front to back: jackfruit BBQ sandwiches, pizza bagels, made-to-order salads and wraps, soups, açaí bowls and desserts that never taste like a compromise. Raw juices and whole-food smoothies come out of the press; the coffee is local and the loose-leaf tea list runs long. Gluten-free and paleo eaters are looked after. Diners keep noting how wide the menu runs for the price. Plant-based, without the preaching.
