Entirely open-air on the Jupiter waterfront, under woven tiki huts and banyan trees with hand-chiselled coquina underfoot - Guanabanas started in 2004 as a sandwich shop opened by local surfers and grew into a gathering spot of a very Florida kind. The kitchen leans hard on local seafood: fresh catch, wild-caught shrimp, clams, blue crab, Florida lobster, plus gator bites, Florida fritters and the fat Cuban sandwich. Sunday brunch, weekday happy hour, touring bands on the stage. Diners come for the setting and stay for the fish, though some find the bill steep.
