Birria first. Three quesa birria tacos — seasoned beef, melted cheese, cilantro and onion alongside, a cup of consomé for dipping — is the dish this Bradenton taqueria is built around. Quesadillas are made to order with grilled carne asada; steak nachos and flautas fill out the rest. Owner Hilda Vega has been cooking Mexican food for decades, and the menu reads like someone with nothing left to prove. Seating is covered picnic tables, the doors open in the evening, and a good share of it goes out the door. Unpretentious, and pointed.
