The upper level of the world's largest Hard Rock Cafe, looking down over the main floor at Universal CityWalk. The mezzanine is the calmer half of the building — same kitchen, same Legendary Burger, salads and sandwiches — but with the guitars and stage costumes closer to eye level and the noise a floor below. Elvis, Buddy Holly and Pete Townshend all turn up in the memorabilia hanging around you. If the ground floor is the party, this is where you can hear the person across the table.
