Fourth Street, historic downtown Panama City, right beside History Class Brewing: Heroes Lounge is a 21-and-over cocktail room built around the city's own past. The name is literal — the bar sets out to tell the stories of Panama City figures, past and present, over classic cocktails, a considered wine list and a short run of small plates, house-made dips included. Doors open mid-afternoon midweek and late morning at weekends; Mondays and Tuesdays are dark. Grown-up drinking with a real sense of place.
