HIATUS BREWING COMPANY – Restaurant
An Ocala taproom on State Road 200 that treats the kitchen as seriously as the tanks. Hiatus pours its own beer across a rotating board and backs it with a full menu of pub cooking rather than a bag of pretzels: flatbreads (the basil chicken has a following), tacos, a proper muffuletta, wings, blistered shishito peppers, a giant pretzel with beer-cheese dip, skillet nachos and chili-cheese dogs. Weekly specials keep regulars checking. The room is easygoing and family-friendly, filling steadily from midday to close. Good beer, and food worth ordering on its own terms.
