HOUSE OF CHONG – Restaurant

A West Navy Boulevard mainstay that has been feeding Pensacola Chinese-American standards for a long stretch. The weekday lunch buffet is the draw, eleven to two Monday through Friday, and the a la carte board leans on the classics the buffet made familiar: chop suey, egg foo yong, cashew chicken, egg rolls, crab rangoon by the dozen, chicken on a stick. Dinner runs through the evening and Sunday is dark. Regulars praise the value and the fact that nothing has drifted. Unfussy, consistent, entirely itself.
