HUEY MAGOO'S CHICKEN TENDERS – Restaurant
The Odessa store runs Huey Magoo's standard playbook, which has not changed much since 2004: tenderloin only, hand-breaded and fried to order or marinated overnight and grilled. Meals come three, five or seven pieces deep, with Tender Bites boxes and family packs for a crowd, plus the Magoo's Sandwich, Buffalo Wrap and a set of salads built on the same chicken. Handcrafted Magoo's sauce is the reason most regulars are regulars. Fresh-cut chips, coleslaw, sweet tea. Diners consistently note the seasoning and how juicy the tenders arrive. Uncomplicated, and good at it.
