HUNGRY HOWIE'S – Restaurant
Founded in 1973, Hungry Howie's has spent its whole life as a carryout-and-delivery pizzeria with one distinguishing move. The flavored crust: eight seasonings applied to the outer edge at order, from butter and butter cheese to asiago, ranch, cajun, sesame, garlic herb and Italian herb. The menu is deliberately uncomplicated — specialty pizzas including the Howie Special and Meat Eaters, oven-baked subs folded calzone-style from pizza dough, Howie Bread, Howie Wings, Howie Rolls, fresh salads and desserts. Customers say the same things consistently: quick, fairly priced, dependable. The crust is the reason to choose it, and it earns the billing.
