The kitchen runs casual American with a Florida accent — the Hookie Melt of chicken tenders, cheese and onions, gator bites, a sizzling ribeye, prime rib, Santa Fe chicken, a grouper po'boy under mango habanero. Diners talk about the lake and the sunset hour as often as the food, and about a room with unpretentious dive-bar warmth. Lunch runs cheap until four. Come by boat if you can.
