JOY JAPAN SUSHI & HIBACHI – Restaurant

A Japanese two-hander on Nolte Road: a sushi bar down one side, hibachi tables down the other. The rolls are where the kitchen has its fun - the Volcano under habanero sauce, the Da Bomb, the Tokyo, and a Nolte roll named for the street outside - with sashimi, tempura and spring rolls filling out the order. Tuna, yellowtail and eel anchor the raw side. Dinner and a show on one half of the room, quiet knife work on the other.
