Kimchi's opened billing itself as the city's only Korean restaurant and still cooks like it has something to prove: honey garlic fried chicken, tteokbokki in thick red sauce, bulgogi, japchae, bibimbap, and kimchi fermented in house. Vegetarians and vegans get real dishes rather than afterthoughts. Diners consistently describe the food as the genuine article and the portions as built for sharing, though nobody calls it cheap. Tel Aviv finally has its Korean corner.
