KINGFISH GRILL – Restaurant

Founded in 2005 and now settled in Cobblestone Village off State Road 312, Kingfish Grill pairs a proper St. Augustine seafood kitchen with a full sushi bar - an unusual combination that the room pulls off. Fish is selected daily: horseradish-crusted mahi, blackened sea scallops, snow crab clusters, a fried shrimp platter, oysters on the half shell. Landlubbers get New York strip and chicken piccata; the sushi side runs rolls, sashimi and sushi nachos. There is a full bar and a coastal, well-spaced dining room. Diners return for the freshness of the fish and the range on one menu. Fresh, not fussy.
