Guatemalan cooking on the Overseas Highway in Marathon, which is not something the Keys had much of before this family opened the doors in January 2024 — mariachi band and all. The tortillas are pressed by hand and the salsas made in house, and the kitchen runs all day, from a serious breakfast through to carne asada, pollo en crema and a deep bowl of beef soup at night. Diners describe food cooked to order rather than held under a lamp. Low-key, family-run, and a genuine change of pace from causeway seafood.
