LA CREPE BISTRO – Restaurant

A tiny French room on SW 57th Avenue with hanging wooden crates, a white counter, and Charles Aznavour playing off a speaker by the door. The crepes are the reason to come: prosciutto and pesto that eats like an ultra-thin pizza, and a house crepe that tastes uncannily like apple pie. Around them, quiches, soups, omelette specials and beef bourguignon rotate through the week, with breakfast served all day. It shuts mid-afternoon and takes itself exactly as seriously as it needs to.
