LA PERRADA DEL GORDO PORT ST LUCIE – Restaurant

Colombian street food at full volume on Port St Lucie Boulevard. The kitchen's signature is the perro — sausage buried under garlic, pink and showy sauces, mustard, ketchup, bacon, crushed chips, pineapple and a quail egg — with the Perro Huevon raising the egg count to five. Burgers get the same treatment. Arepas arrive stuffed with beef, cheese and pork rind, and there is chuzopan, salchipapa and tamales for anyone still standing. Sweet finishes run to tres leches and leche asada. Diners come for the size and stay for the sauces. Nothing here is understated.
