LA PISCINE – Restaurant

A poolside room on Bay Road in South Beach, open from mid-morning to midnight, where the water is the view and lunch has a way of stretching into the afternoon. La Piscine runs Latin-leaning food against American standards: ceviche and empanadas on one side, burgers and cocktails on the other, French pastry with the morning coffee, bowls and salads and pizzas at midday. The week has its own rhythm, with tacos and margaritas on Tuesdays, a new burger on Wednesdays, and fried rice from five on Fridays. Easy, tropical, unhurried.
