LE BASILIC – Restaurant

A candlelit room in Sunset Harbour with a garden out back that does most of the persuading. Le Basilic Miami plays traditional French cooking straight — salmon in a creamy herb sauce, caviar spaghetti, Crepes Suzette flamed at the table for anyone who wants the show — against a chic, pared-back interior and a bar built for lingering. It opens for dinner only, four nights a week, and runs late. Diners come away talking about the romance of the place and the trip back to France. Worth the reservation.
