MAMAN – French
maman is the French-American café and bakery Elisa Marshall and Benjamin Sormonte started in Soho in 2014, and it has since become one of the most recognisable daytime rooms in South Florida, with eleven cafés across the Miami area and up the coast. The look is instantly identifiable: antique provincial décor, florals, toile, blue-and-white china. So is the baking. The nutty chocolate chip cookie that made Oprah's Favorite Things in 2017 remains the signature, joined by seasonal croissants, vegan lemon poppyseed cookies, matcha lattes, and a savoury menu of salads, sandwiches and wraps.
