The ground floor of the Tampa EDITION opens onto a room built for the whole day: a wraparound coffee bar pouring from 6:30am, then brunch, bar bites at the shoulder hour, and dinner until ten. The cooking looks to Italy's coastline, all bright herbs and light textures. Fresh pasta, Neapolitan-style pizzas, house-made pastries at the counter. Cocktails follow a garden-to-bar idea, gin and vodka and wine lifted with citrus and herbs cut to order. Reservations are open to anyone, not just guests upstairs. A hotel restaurant that behaves like a neighbourhood one.
