MAYDAY ICE CREAMS – Restaurant

Mayday is a Jacksonville-rooted ice cream maker with several scoop counters across the city, and it makes rather than buys: the base is churned by the company in Florida, the waffle cones are baked in the shops, and the sprinkles are house-made and always free. The board rotates but keeps its anchors - Queen Salted Caramel, Cookie Crush, The Aviator with Biscoff and hazelnut, Cloud 9 almond with marshmallow fluff. Customers return for the density and for flavors they cannot get elsewhere. Pints go home; sprinkles go on everything. A local favorite that earned it by churning.
