MERCADO MORADA – Restaurant

An open-air Latin street-market set-up right on the water at Three Waters Resort, with the Islamorada sandbar in front of you and a fire pit for once the light goes. Order at the windows: loaded burritos, chicken quesadillas with spicy mayo, pupusas, empanadas, fish and chips, and a piña colada French toast that has become the breakfast people mention first. Agua frescas, margaritas and mojitos handle the rest. The patio is enormous, the tables are far apart, and nobody hurries you off them. Locals come as readily as resort guests.
