Miele/Lamosa – Restaurant
Two halves of one kosher operation in The Row on Lakewood Road: La Mossa, a Roman-style pizzeria working in a warm, modern room, and Miele, the artisanal gelateria beside it. The pizza side takes a straightforwardly Italian approach, tradition with a little contemporary polish; Miele builds gelato and sorbet on classic Italian flavours, with all dairy Cholov Yisroel so the whole menu is open to strictly kosher customers. Both carry KCL certification. Order a pie, then walk two doors down for dessert. A pairing Toms River did not have until recently.
