Kosher fine dining on East 54th Street, fully rebuilt in January 2024 and now one of the more ambitious rooms in the category anywhere. The kitchen's signatures have followed it through the renovation: short ribs, handmade gnocchi, tuna poke nachos, pulled short-rib taquitos, a veal porketta sandwich, roasted pigeon breast, rib-eye. Dessert leans on a citrus pavlova. Diners describe a place that handles restrictions and special requests without fuss, and a floor team that explains the menu properly. Expensive, and unusually assured about why. Book it for the occasion, not the errand.
