MILA&MOCHA – Restaurant
A counter-service cafe on South Tamiami Trail in Venice where you order at the till and everything arrives made from scratch. Mila&Mocha leans healthy without being humourless: avocado toast on sourdough with cherry tomatoes and balsamic, salmon toast, paninis, wraps and salads dressed with house-made Caesar, pesto or honey vinaigrette. Savoury cooking is done in avocado oil, the sauces in extra virgin olive oil, and the cakes and pastries are baked in-house with organic flour, including a daily gluten-free option. Espresso comes from locally sourced artisan beans. Breakfast and lunch only - it shuts at three.
