On NE 4th Street in downtown Fort Lauderdale, Mister O1 keeps to Chef Renato Viola's original method - 72-hour naturally leavened dough, mostly Italian ingredients, a thin crust that arrives charred and pliant. The signature pizzas are shaped like stars, their folded points filled with soft cheese; Star Luca is the one people photograph. The list runs past twenty pies, plus calzones, an antipasti and burrata bar and salads built for a group. The original Miami Beach shop earned a Michelin Guide recommendation for this same dough. Fifties rock on the speakers, Nutella pizza at the end.
