MITAKA RAMEN – Restaurant

Tucked in by the entrance to the Ellenton outlets, Mitaka Ramen is a small, calm room built around one thing: broth. The bones simmer sixteen hours before a bowl is poured, and the tonkotsu, spicy miso and tantanmen all come out deep rather than heavy. Pork belly buns arrive on soft folded flatbread, and there is chicken karaage, shrimp tempura, gyoza and a curry chicken rice bowl for anyone not in a noodle mood. Diners consistently note the portion sizes, the speed and the friendliness of the room. Mochi ice cream to finish, and you are back out among the outlet stores.
