NEVERMIND AWESOME BAR & EATERY – Restaurant

A late-night room on Cape Coral Parkway where the kitchen keeps going past midnight and a band is usually setting up somewhere near the front bar. Nevermind takes bar food seriously: the pressed Angus cheeseburger, truffle papas fritas, parmesan truffle wings, fried volcano spring rolls and a mac and cheese that gets ordered without much deliberation. The cocktail list gets the same attention as the plates. What regulars talk about most is the floor staff, who know the room and stay friendly when it fills. Loud, unfussy, and still serving when the rest of the parkway has gone quiet.
