Tucked into a plaza on Jimmy Buffett Memorial Highway, New China is the Chinese kitchen the beachside towns south of Patrick keep going back to. Sweet and sour pork, beef and broccoli, chicken egg foo young, chicken lo mein, orange chicken and a steamed shrimp, scallop and krab plate with mixed vegetables cover most tickets, and there is a real vegetarian run including vegetable chow mein. Food arrives hot, fresh and heavy on the vegetables. Family-owned, quick, and genuinely friendly about it. Closed Mondays, open to ten on Friday and Saturday.
