A family-run Chinese kitchen in a Thomasville Road plaza on Tallahassee's north side, set up for takeout with a couple of tables if you would rather stay. Nihao keeps to the American-Chinese canon and does it the same way every time: house special fried rice, sesame chicken, Mongolian beef, sweet and sour pork, seafood lo mein, egg foo young, egg drop and wonton soups, and crab rangoon that comes out light and crisp. Portions are large, the packing is neat, and the owners are usually somewhere in the room. Hot, quick, consistent.
