A Puglian family's transplant to Thompson Street, running as a bar e cucina - half modern Italian dining room, half serious cocktail bar. Executive chef Gabriele Rotunno keeps it southern and bright: burrata with tomato and basil, tuna tartare with guacamole and croutons, scallops with catalana salad, tagliatelle alla bolognese, tagliatelle with house genovese pesto and burrata cream, Roman-style pizza under prosciutto and burrata, and a short-rib-and-beef burger with provolone and caramelised onion. Breakfast runs all day. The drinks list is its own event, from a Negroni Sbiancato to a bruschetta-inspired negroni. SoHo polish without SoHo attitude.
