Trattoria Pesce Pasta has worked a Bleecker Street storefront in Greenwich Village since 1993, and the name is essentially the menu: fish and pasta, cooked plainly, served in quantity. Mussels marinara come with bread you will use on the sauce; then linguine al scoglio, seafood risotto, seafood lasagna, lobster ravioli, linguine tinted with calamari ink. From the grill, swordfish, monk fish, striped bass with leeks and capers, and a zuppa di pesce Veneziana that comfortably feeds two. Veal chop and chicken francese cover the rest of the table. Big portions, honest prices, no theater.
