Family-style Italian off Times Square, where nearly everything arrives on a platter sized for the table and the waiters have been known to sing. Rigatoni alla vodka comes out properly al dente; the linguine in white clam sauce is loaded with chopped and whole clams and a flick of red pepper; pork chops, shrimp scampi, chicken parmigiana and spaghetti and meatballs all land in quantities meant for three or four. Cheesecake and a solid wine list finish it. Diners describe a loud, boisterous, thoroughly good-humoured room — not the place for a quiet conversation. Book ahead and share everything.
