ORIGAMI SUSHI – Restaurant

A West Hillsborough Avenue sushi room that has been feeding Tampa for over fifteen years, and it plays to the specialty-roll crowd rather than the purists. The house rolls carry the personality - a Crazy Horse, a Mexican roll, a rainbow, a sweet potato roll for anyone eating meatless - and the kitchen sends out spring rolls and the usual hot starters alongside. Regulars come back for the freshness and the speed as much as the invention, and the staff are a large part of why. Not a hushed omakase counter. A good neighbourhood sushi restaurant, which is harder to find.
