Dockside on Hendry Street where downtown Fort Myers meets the Caloosahatchee, Oxbow is built for the boat-in crowd and everyone who wishes they had one. Oysters on the half shell, house-smoked fish dip and fried calamari to start; then a mahi sandwich, fish and chips, shrimp and grits, or the 'Bow burger, with steaks and salads filling out the rest. There is an upstairs event room with sweeping river views and an outfitters shop attached. Diners come back for the sunset as much as the seafood.
