PINCHO BARGE – Restaurant

There is no front door, because there is no front. The Pincho Barge is a customised commercial barge anchored on the Islamorada sandbar, reachable only by boat, jet ski or a wade through waist-deep water with your wallet held overhead. It is one of very few boat-in-only kitchens anywhere, and a fixed point in Keys boating culture — a mid-ocean stop for people who have spent the day anchored in the shallows. Opening depends entirely on the weather, so check before you cast off. Turquoise water, hot food, no shoes required.
