Rega'im is a weekday lunch room on HaMazmera in Ness Ziona, open ten to four and built entirely around home cooking. The plate is the whole proposition: pick a main from a rotating spread of eight or so meat dishes, add a side and a run of small salads, and it lands looking like Friday at somebody's mother's house. Portions are large enough that regulars split the sides. Prices stay low, the room stays informal, and there is seating outside. Diners keep returning for the same reason: it tastes like food cooked at home, not assembled.
