Aroma has been Israel's default coffee stop since two brothers opened the country's first espresso bar in Jerusalem in 1994, and the Or Akiva branch runs the same playbook. Beans are roasted in-house; every hot drink arrives with a square of chocolate alongside. The kitchen builds sandwiches on the chain's own bread, halloumi with roasted aubergine and tahini, tuna, grilled chicken, and rounds things out with burekas, shakshuka, big salads and the iced coffee that made the brand. Customers come for consistency rather than surprise: the same breakfast, the same coffee, morning after morning. Reliable, and unapologetic about it.
